Biblical Declarations

These declarations are taken from the Word of God. As you declare them in faith, you will see God's power manifest in your life!

God reveals to me and shows me the path of life. He teaches me how to live a holy life. In His presence is fullness of pure joy. I’m happy from the inside out. Being with Him fills me with abounding joy, being near my God makes me glad. Sitting by His side I will always be joyful- at His right hand are pleasures and delights forevermore! Ever since the Lord took my hand, I’m walking the right way. He has got my feet on the right path of life. He’s let me experience the complete, perfect joy of life- the exquisite, everlasting pleasures of His own eternal presence.  He has turned my mourning into joyful dancing. He has changed my sobbing into a whirling dance. He has turned my heaviness into gladness. He took away my clothes of sadness and clothed me in happiness. He has stripped off my sackcloth and clothed me with joy. He has torn off my black band of mourning and decked me with wild flowers. He has turned my lamenting into a processional. No longer am I sad. He has taken my sorrow and surrounded me with joy! O Lord, my God, I will give thanks to You forever! I thank You with all of my heart My whole being will sing hymns of praise to You unceasingly. My soul will never cease to praise You. I will not be silent- I can’t keep quiet about You, my God. I will praise You and thank You, forever.

God’s tender loving care is a manifestation of all the love that is in His heart. It is something I can experience, see, touch and feel. It covers all areas of provision. It reaches to my health and well-being and all areas of my life, right down to the smallest detail. It includes a peace that passes all understanding, at all times. I relax and really trust and have faith in the Lord. I enter into His rest and savor and enjoy life to the fullest. I prepare for the best of all God’s promises to keep me close to His heart and care for me. I thank Him ahead of time for the very best that is ahead of me! I trust in God’s love and His perpetual loving care for me. I anticipate with joy the very best that is yet to come. My faith in God brings me great rewards and very special surprises and gifts of His love. He continually rains down blessings on me for He delights delighting in me. There are no days without His loving presence and loving care surrounding me. Truly, I lack no good thing! He supplies my need, even before I ask, for He cares for me. I bask in His love and delight in His continual rain of blessings. I am chosen, cherished and very well cared for. Thank You Jesus!

I dwell in the secret place of the most High. I abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  I rest and repose in the shelter of the Almighty. I live as a ward of the God of heaven and earth. I will stay and remain fixed and stable under the protection and defense of God All- Powerful, whose power no foe can withstand.

I will say of the Lord, You are my Sheltering haven, my refuge and my fortress- my place of safety. You are my God- in You I will trust. The Lord will keep me safe from all secret traps. Certainly it is He, who rescues me from the hunters trap, the snare of the fowler, and every treacherous lure. He will keep me safe from every wasting disease, every deadly epidemic and every destructive pestilence.  He will spread His wings over me and cover me with His feathers. Under His wings, I take refuge. I find shelter within His protective power. His huge, outstretched arms protect me. Under them, I am perfectly safe. His arms fend off all harm. His truth will encompass me with armor. His Constance and fidelity are my assurance of security. His faithful promises are my encircling shield and my protection.

I will not dread or be afraid of the terror of night or of any danger that is abroad in daylight. I will not fear nocturnal terror or the evil that kills in the daylight.  I will not fear the conspiracy that spreads in darkness or the plague that stalks in the dark. I do not fear the epidemic or sickness that devastates at midday. I am not afraid of the calamity or sudden disaster that spreads havoc at noontime.A thousand may fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand but it will not come near me. I, myself, will remain unscathed. The plague will never reach me. I will not be harmed.

I will witness the sinner’s reward. Only a spectator will I be, myself inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High. I will stand untouched and watch it from a distance. Only with my eyes will I behold the recompense of the lawless. I will only look on and see how evil men are punished. I will gaze upon and take careful notice of the reward of the wicked. I have the made the Lord my defender. He is my refuge, my Shelter, my fortress and my protector.  The Most High is my habitation and my dwelling place. I run to Him for safety.

No terrible disaster will strike me or my home. No violence will happen near my home. No scourge or plague will even come near my dwelling. No evil will befall me. No disaster or calamity will overwhelm me. No misfortune will be sent to me. He will give His angels orders regarding me. He will command His angels to guard and protect me wherever I go and keep me in all my ways. By their power they will uphold me, lest I should even injure my foot on a stone. They will carry me in their arms and bear me up in their hands.

I can walk over reptiles, the most deadly snakes and can overpower the strongest lions.  I will kick lions and snakes from my path. Because I truly know the Lord and have set my love upon Him, He will deliver me. Because I cling to Him and anchor my love in Him, He rescues me. He lifts me beyond danger, I have His protection, He keeps me safe. When I call to Him, He answers me. He will be with me in trouble, deliver and honor me. In hardship and affliction, He is at my side and brings me safety and deliverance.

God gives me long life and lets me see His saving care. He lets me participate in His salvation and see His saving power. 

God is my Father, I do not fear. There’s nothing to fear because He is with me. I’m not intimidated or alarmed. I am not dismayed. I don’t look around me in terror. I have stopped being watchful or anxious- for God supports me. He strengthens and hardens me to difficulties. He emboldens me. He holds me with His saving right hand. He upholds and retains me with His vindicating, victorious right hand of rightness and justice. He holds me with a firm grip, He has helped me and will continue to help me. He gives me strength and victory. Behold, all who hate me will be disgraced. Those who attack me will vanish into thin air. Those who rage against me will be put to shame and confusion. Those who strive against me shall be ashamed and confounded. Those who fight against me will be destroyed and perish.  All who defy and vent against me will come to naught and offer no resistance.  Those who pick quarrels with me will be humiliated. All who set themselves against me will be disappointed. Those who war against me will be as nothing, nothing at all.  For He is the Lord, my God. He holds and firmly grasps my right hand. He is not letting me go! He is the Lord who says to me, ‘Fear not’. He has become my helper. I am not afraid, for God supports and saves me. 




I belong to God. He keeps me safe and secure under His wings. He guards and watches over me. He surrounds me with His loving care. He keeps me safe from all harm and any attack or plan of the enemy. No weapon that is formed against me prospers; the slings and arrows of my enemy will have no effect. I rest secure in God’s protection and provision. He keeps me safe from all evil and delivers me from even the fear of evil. It will not come near me. In a day of darkness, I will be free to go where God sends me with joy and rejoicing and great and undisturbed peace. The enemy will not stop me, or even slow me down, with thoughts of fear. He will not imprison me by causing me to seek a place of safety. The center of God’s wills is the very safest place I can be. My courage, trust and faith grows as I step out in faith-taking one step at a time. I find that truly every promise God gives is a sure possession.  It has been tested, tried and proven. I am protected, surrounded, enclosed and enveloped within God’s watchful, loving care. I rest in His love. 


1 Thessalonians

My work is produced by faith, my labor is prompted by love, and my endurance is inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. I am loved and chosen by God, His gospel came to me with power, with the Holy Ghost, and with deep conviction. I have turned from idols to serve the living and true God, and to wait for His son from heaven whom he raised from the dead- Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.

I am not trying to please men but God, who tests my heart. I am holy, righteous, and blameless- living a life worthy of God, who calls me into His kingdom and glory. I accept the word of God not as the word of men, but as it is actually, the word of God, which is at work in those who believe. I am not unsettled in trials because I know that I was destined for them. The Lord makes His love increase and overflow for other believers and everyone else in my heart. He strengthens my heart so that I will be blameless and holy in the presence of God when our Lord Jesus comes with His holy ones.
It is God’s will that I should be sanctified, that I should avoid sexual immorality, that I should control my own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the heathen who do not know God. I don’t take advantage of other people. God did not call me to be impure, but to live a holy life. I have been taught by God to love people. My ambition is to live a quiet life, to mind my own business, and to work with my hands, so that my daily life will win the respect of outsiders and so that I won’t be dependent on anyone.

I am a son of light and a son of the day. I am alert and self-controlled. I put on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. God did not appoint me to suffer wrath, but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for me so that, whether I’m awake or asleep, I may live with Him. I encourage and am encouraged by other believers, we build each other up.
I respect those who work hard, who are over me in the Lord, and who admonish me. I hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. I live in peace with people. I warn those who are idle, I encourage the timid, I help the weak, and I’m patient with everyone. I don’t pay back wrong for wrong, but I always try to be kind to everyone. I am joyful always, I pray continually, and I give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for me in Christ Jesus.

I do not put out the Spirit’s fire, I do not treat prophecies with contempt. I test everything. I hold on to what is good. I avoid every kind of evil. God Himself, the God of peace, sanctifies me through and through! My whole Spirit, soul, and body is kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls me is faithful and He will do it.



TITUS

I have grace and peace from God the Father. I am hospitable, I love what is good, and I am self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined. I hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so I encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it. I teach what is in accord with sound doctrine. I teach older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love and in endurance. I teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers, or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good.  In my teaching I show integrity, seriousness, and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose me may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about me. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to me. It teaches me to say no to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in this present age while I wait for the blessed hope- the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ who gave himself for me to redeem me from all wickedness, and to purify me to be his very own, eager to do good works. I encourage and rebuke with authority and I let no one despise me.

I am subject to rulers and authorities; I am obedient, and ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility towards everyone. At one time I too was foolish, disobedient, deceived, and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. I lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating others. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved me, not because of righteous things I had done, but because of His mercy. He saved me through the washing of rebirth and renewal of the Holy Spirit, who he poured out on me generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that having been justified by His grace, I might become an heir having the hope of eternal life.


I avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless. I learn to devote myself to doing what is good, in order that I may provide for daily necessities and not live an unproductive life. 




2TIMOTHY

I am an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, according to the promise of life that is in Christ Jesus. I have grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father. God did not give me a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love, and of self-discipline. God saved me and called me to a holy life- not because of anything I have done but because of His own purpose and grace. This grace was given to me before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel. I keep the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus. I guard the good deposit that was entrusted to me with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in me.

I am strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus and I endure hardships with other believers as a good soldier of Christ. If I died with him, I will also live with Him, if I endure I will reign with Him, and if I’m faithless he remains faithful for he cannot disown himself. I do my best to present myself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. I avoid Godless chatter, because those who indulge in it become more and more ungodly. The Lord knows those who are His, and everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness. I cleanse myself from ignoble purposes; therefore, I am an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work. I flee the evil desires of youth, and I pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord with a pure heart. I have nothing to do with stupid arguments because I know they produce quarrels which I do not like. I am kind to everyone and able to teach, I am not resentful. I gently instruct those who oppose me in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to the knowledge of truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do His will.

I have nothing to do with treacherous, conceited, rash, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient, ungrateful, unholy, slanderous people without love and self-control, having a form of Godliness but denying its power! I continue in what I have learned- in the scriptures which are able to make me wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness so that I may be equipped for every good work!

I preach the Word; I am prepared in season and out of season. I correct, rebuke, and encourage with great patience and careful instruction. I keep my head in all situations, I endure hardships, I do the work of an evangelist, and I discharge all the duties of my ministry. I am fighting the good fight, I am finishing my race, and I keep the faith. There is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the Righteous judge will award to me on that day. The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom. To Him be the glory forever and ever! The Lord is with my Spirit, His peace is within me.


 2 Corinthians

Praise be to the God and Father of my Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts me in all my troubles so that I can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort I have received. Just as the sufferings of Christ flows over into my life, so also through Christ my comfort flows. God who raises the dead has delivered me from deadly perils and He will continue to deliver me! In relations with people, by God’s grace I conduct myself in holiness and sincerity that are from God. God makes me stand firm in Christ, He anointed me, set His seal of ownership on me, and put His Spirit in my heart as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

I stand firm by faith. Thanks be to God who always leads me in triumphal procession in Christ and through me spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him. I am to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. I do not peddle the Word of God for profit, In Christ I speak before God with sincerity as one sent from God. I am a letter from Christ, the result of my ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. I am confident before God, and my competence comes from Him. He has made me competent as a minister of a new covenant –not of the letter but of the Spirit. I reflect on the Lord’s glory and am transformed into His likeness with ever increasing glory.

I do not lose heart. I have renounced secret and shameful ways. I do not use deception, nor do I distort the Word of God. I do not preach myself, but Jesus Christ as Lord and I as His servant. God shone His light in my heart to give me the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. I am hard pressed on every side, but not crushed, perplexed but not in despair, persecuted but not abandoned, struck down but not destroyed. I always carry around in my body the death of Jesus Christ so that His life may be revealed in my body. I do not lose heart. Though outwardly I am wasting away, inwardly I am being renewed day by day. My light and momentary troubles are achieving for me an eternal glory that far outweighs them all! So I fix my eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen, for what is seen is temporary and what is unseen is eternal.

I live by faith and not by sight. I make it my goal to always please the Lord. I will appear before the judgment seat of Christ that I may receive what is due to me, for the things I’ve done in the body whether good or bad. Christ died for me therefore I live for Him. I am a new creation, the old is gone and the new has come in my life! I am Christ’s ambassador. God made Him who had no sin to be sin for me that in Him I might become the righteousness of God.

As a servant of God I commend myself in every way: in great endurance, in troubles, in hardships, in distress, in hard work, in purity, understanding, patience, and kindness, in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love, in truthful speech and in the power of God, with weapons of righteousness in the right and left hand. I am the temple of the living God, He lives with me and I am His child. I purify myself from anything that contaminates my body and Spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
I excel in everything- in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness, in love, and also in giving. For my sake Jesus became poor and through His poverty I am rich! I sow generously therefore reap generously. God is able to make all grace abound to me, so that in all things and at all times, having all that I need, I will abound in every good work. He who supplies seed for the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase my store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of my righteousness. I am rich in every way and generous on every occasion. Men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies my confession of the Gospel of Christ, and for my generosity. In their prayers for me their hearts will go out to me because of the surpassing grace God has given me.

I do not wage war as the world does. The weapons I fight with are not weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. I demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and I take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. I am always ready to punish every act of disobedience.

I will not boast about myself except my weaknesses. God’s grace is sufficient for me, for His power is made perfect in weakness. I boast about my weaknesses so that Christ’s power may rest on me. When I’m weak, then I’m strong. I aim for perfection, I am of one mind with other believers and I live at peace with everyone. The God of love and peace is with me.


2 Peter


Through the righteousness of my God and Savior Jesus Christ I have received precious faith. Grace and peace is mine in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus my Lord. His divine power has given me everything I need for life and godliness through the knowledge of him who called me by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given me his very great and precious promises, so that through them I may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.


I make every effort to add to my faith goodness, and to goodness knowledge, and to knowledge self-control, and to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, and to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. I possess these qualities in increasing measure; they keep me from being ineffective and unproductive in my knowledge of my Lord Jesus Christ. I am eager to make my calling and election sure, for if I do these things I will never fall and I will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.


I am firmly established in truth. The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise; He is patient with me, not wanting me to perish but to come to repentance. I live a holy and Godly life as I look forward to the day of God. In keeping with His promises I am looking forward to a new earth, the home of righteousness. So I make every effort to be found spotless, blameless, and at peace with Him. I am on my guard and I am not carried away by the error of lawless men. I do not fall from my secure position. I grow in the grace and knowledge of my Lord Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever Amen!



Hebrews
Who am I that God is mindful of me? That He visits me? He made me a little lower than the angels, He crowns me with glory and honor and set me over the works of His hands. By the grace of God, Jesus tasted death for me; He is the captain of my salvation. Since Jesus took the form of man, He succors me when I’m tempted. I am holy, I am a partaker in the heavenly calling, and I consider Christ Jesus as the High priest of my profession. I hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. As I hear His voice, I do not harden my heart. Having believed the Word of God, I enter into a place of rest therefore ceasing from my own works.  The Word of God is quick and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of my soul and spirit, and of my joints and marrow, it discerns my thoughts and the intents of my heart. Seeing that I have a great High Priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, I hold fast to my profession. For I have not a High Priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of my infirmities, but was like in all points tempted as I am, yet without sin. I come boldly unto the throne of grace, that I may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

God is not unrighteous to forget my works and labor of love, which I have shown towards His name. I show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end. I am a follower of those who through faith and patience inherited the promises of God. Surely God will bless and multiply me. I patiently endure so that I can obtain the promise. I have hope as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast. Jesus is my High Priest. He is able to save me to the uttermost because He lives to make intercession for me. He is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, a minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle. God has put His laws into my mind and has written them in my heart. He is my God and I am His child. He is merciful to my unrighteousness, my sins and iniquities; He remembers no more!

Christ came as a High priest of good things to come. He entered in once into the holy place not by the blood of goats or calves but by His own. Thus, he obtained eternal redemption for me! For if the blood of bulls and of goats sprinkles the unclean, how much more shall the blood of Christ who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge my conscience from dead works to serving the living God? Christ is not entered into the holy place made with hands, which are the figures of the true, but into heaven itself, to appear in the presence of God for me!!Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many, and as I look unto Him, He shall appear the second time without sin unto salvation! By one offering I have been perfected forever and am sanctified! I have boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way, which He has consecrated for me, through the veil, that is to say, His flesh! I draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having my heart sprinkled from an evil conscience, and my body washed with pure water! I hold fast the profession of my faith without wavering; for He is faithful that promised.

Through faith I understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which disappear. I come to God believing that He is, and He rewards me as I diligently seek Him. Through faith, I subdue kingdoms and obtain God’s promises. I am compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, so I lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily entangles me. I run with patience the race that is set before me, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of my faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. I consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest I become weary and faint in my mind. I do not despise the chastening of the Lord, for whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth. God chastens me that I might be a partaker of His holiness.

I strengthen my feeble arms and weak knees, making level paths for my feet so that I may not be disabled but be healed. I make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy, for without holiness no one will see the Lord. I see to it that I don’t fall short of the grace of God and no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile me. I have come to mount Zion, to the city of the living God. I have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven.

Since I have received a kingdom that cannot be shaken, I am thankful. I worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for my God is a consuming fire. I keep on loving others as brothers and sisters. I never forget to show hospitality to strangers. I remember those in prison as if I were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if I myself was suffering. I honor marriage and I keep the marriage bed pure, for God will judge the adulterer and the sexual immoral. I keep my life from the love of money and I’m content with what I have, because God will never leave me nor forsake me. So I say with confidence, the Lord is my helper I will not be afraid! What can mere mortals do to me?


I remember my leaders who spoke the word of God to me. I consider the outcome of their lives and I imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. I am not carried away by all kinds of strange teachings. It is good for my heart to be strengthened by grace. Through Jesus, I continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise and I do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. I have confidence in my leaders and I submit to their authority, because they keep watch over me as those who must give an account. The God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead my Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equips me with everything good for doing His will, and works in me what is pleasing to Him!


Galatians

I have grace and peace from God my Father and my Lord Jesus Christ who gave himself for my sins to rescue me from the present evil age, according to the will of God. I am a servant of God and His approval is all I need. The Gospel I have received is by revelation from the Lord Jesus Christ. God who set me apart from birth, and called me by His grace was pleased to reveal His Son in me so I might preach Him among the nations.

I am justified not by observing the law but by having faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Christ redeemed me from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for me, for it is written: Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree. He redeemed me in order that the blessing given to Abraham may come to me through Jesus Christ, so that by faith I might receive the promise of the Spirit.

I am a Son of God through faith in Christ Jesus for I have been baptized into Christ and have clothed myself with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for we are all one in Christ. I belong to Christ therefore; I am Abraham’s seed, and an heir according to the promise. God sent His Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem me that I might have the full rights of a Son. He has sent the Spirit of His Son into my heart, the Spirit who calls out ‘Abba Father’. I am no longer a slave but a son; and God has also made me an heir.

It is for freedom that Christ has set me free. I stand firm, and I do not allow myself to be burdened by the yoke of slavery. By faith I eagerly await through the Spirit the righteousness for which I hope. I was called to be free but I do not use my freedom to indulge in the sinful nature, rather I serve others in love. The entire law is summed up in a single command: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself’.
I live by the Spirit therefore I do not gratify the desires of sinful nature. I am led by the Spirit. The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery, idolatry and witchcraft, hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. But I possess the fruit of the Spirit which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law! I belong to Jesus Christ therefore I have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since I live by the Spirit, I keep in step with the Spirit.


I, together with other believers, carry each other’s burdens, in this way we fulfill the law of Christ. I test my own actions and take pride in myself without comparing myself to others. As I receive instruction in the word I share it with my instructors. I am not deceived, God cannot be mocked, I will reap what I sow. I sow to please the Spirit, so from the Spirit I reap eternal life. I do not become weary in doing good for at the proper time I will reap a harvest if I do not give up. As I have the opportunity, I do good to all people especially to those who belong to the family of believers. I never boast except in the cross of my Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. Peace and mercy follows me. 

1 Corinthians


In Christ I have been enriched in every way. I lack no spiritual gift as I eagerly wait for my Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. He will keep me strong to the end so that I will be blameless on the day of the Lord Jesus Christ.  God, who has called me to fellowship with His Son is faithful. I am perfectly united with the believers in mind and thought. My boasting is in God alone, and my faith is not on man’s wisdom but on God’s power. No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for me because I love Him, and He has revealed it to me by His Spirit. I have received the Spirit who is from God, that I may understand what God has freely given me. I have the mind of Christ.

I am the temple of God and His Spirit lives in me. God’s temple is sacred and I am that temple. When I am cursed, I bless. When I am persecuted, I endure. When I am slandered, I answer kindly. I have been washed, sanctified, and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. Everything is permissible for me, but I will not be mastered by anything. My body is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord. By His power God raised the Lord from the dead and He will raise me up also. I unite myself with the Lord; therefore I am one with Him in Spirit. I flee from sexual immorality. I am not my own, I was bought at a price; therefore I honor God with my body.

I was bought at a price; I am not a slave of men. I am concerned about the Lord’s affairs and how to please Him. I live in undivided devotion to the Lord. I cannot boast when I preach the Gospel because I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the Gospel. I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like one beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize. No temptation has seized me except what is common to man, and God is faithful; He will not let me be tempted beyond what I can bear. When I am tempted, He will provide a way out so that I can stand up under it.


I do everything to the glory of God. I have love that is patient and kind. The kind that is not envious, boastful, nor prideful. The love I have is not rude, not self-seeking, and not easily angered. It keeps no record of wrongs. The love I have does not delight in evil but rejoices in truth. It always protects, trusts, hopes, and perseveres. The love I have never fails. Now I know in part; but I shall know fully, even as I’m fully known. I follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts. By the grace of God, I am what I am. I stand firm in the faith, nothing will move me. I give myself fully to the work of the Lord because I know that my labor in the Lord is not in vain. I am on my guard and I stand firm. I am a man of courage, I am strong, and I do everything in love. 


Romans

I am a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the Gospel of Christ. Through Him and for His name’s sake, I have received grace and apostleship to call people to the obedience that comes from faith. I’m among those who’ve been called to belong to Christ. I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes.
I have been justified through faith therefore I have peace with God through my Lord Jesus Christ. I rejoice in the hope of the glory of God, and also in my sufferings, because I know that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance character, and character, hope. God has poured out His love into my heart by His Holy Spirit whom He has given me. God demonstrated His own love for me in this: While I was a sinner, Christ died for me. I rejoice in God through my Lord Jesus Christ, through whom I have now received reconciliation.

I have died to sin; I do not live in it any longer. I was buried with Christ through baptism into death, in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, I too may live a new life. My old self was crucified with Him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that I should no longer be a slave to sin- because anyone who has died has been freed from sin. I count myself dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. I do not let sin reign in my mortal body; I do not obey its desires. I do not offer parts of my body to sin but rather I offer myself to God as one brought from death to life, and as an instrument of righteousness. Sin shall not be my master because I am not under law but under grace. By dying to what once bound me, I have been released from the law so that I may serve in the new way of the spirit.

There is no condemnation for me because I am in Christ Jesus. Through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. I live in accordance with the Spirit therefore my mind is set on what the Spirit desires. The Spirit of God lives in me and controls me. My body is dead to sin but alive to righteousness. The Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead lives within me and He gives life to my mortal body through His Spirit who lives in me. I am a son of God because I’m being led by His Spirit; I have received the spirit of son-ship and by Him I cry Abba Father. The Spirit himself testifies with my spirit that I’m a child of God. I am an heir of God and a co-heir with Christ. I share in His sufferings in order that I may share in His glory.

My present sufferings are not worth comparing to the glory that will be revealed in me. As one who has the first fruits of the Spirit, I groan inwardly as I wait eagerly for my adoption as a son, the redemption of my body. For in this hope I am saved! The Spirit helps me in my weaknesses. I do not know what I’m ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for me with groans that words cannot express. In all things God makes everything work for my good because I love Him and have been called according to His purpose. He foreknew and predestined me to be conformed to the likeness of His Son. He called, justified, and glorified me! If God is for me, who can be against me? He graciously gives me all things! Nothing can ever separate me from the love of God! I am more than a conqueror through Him who loves me!

I trust in the Lord Jesus therefore I will never be put to shame! I confess with my mouth that ‘Jesus is Lord’ and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, therefore I am saved.  As I call on the Lord, He richly blesses me! I am a remnant chosen by grace and not by works. I offer my body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God this is my spiritual act of worship. I do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but I am transformed by the renewing of my mind. I am able to test and approve what God’s will is- his good, pleasing, and perfect will! I do not think of myself more highly as I ought to, but think of myself with sober judgment in accordance with the measure of faith God has given me. Together with the members of Christ, I have a different gift according to the grace given to me.

My love is sincere. I hate what is evil and I cling to what is good. I am devoted to others in brotherly love and honor others above myself. I never lack in zeal but I keep my spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. I am joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer. I share with God’s people who are in need and I practice hospitality. I bless those who persecute me- I bless and do not curse. I rejoice with those who rejoice and mourn with those who mourn. I live in harmony with others. I am not proud. I am willing to associate myself with people of low position, I am not conceited. I do not repay anyone evil for evil. I am careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody; I live at peace with everyone. I do not take revenge but I leave room for God’s wrath. If my enemy is hungry I feed him, if he is thirsty I give him something to drink. I am not overcome by evil, but I overcome evil with good.

I submit myself to the governing authorities. No debt remains outstanding in my life except the continuing debt to love others. I put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. I behave decently as in the day time, not in orgies, drunkenness, sexual immorality, debauchery, dissension and jealousy. I clothe myself with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature.

If I live I live to the Lord, and if I die, I die to him. So whether I live or die, I belong to the Lord. I do not pass judgment on other believers. Instead I make my mind up not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in my brother’s way. I serve God in righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit which is pleasing to God and approved by men. I make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification. I bear with the failures of the weak, and I please my neighbor for his good, to build him up. God who gives endurance and encouragement has given me a spirit of unity with other believers. I accept others just as Christ has accepted me. The God of hope fills me with all joy and peace as I trust him, and I overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.


I am full of goodness, complete in knowledge, and competent to instruct others. The God of peace is with me. I watch out for those who cause division and put obstacles in my way that are contrary to the teaching I have learned. The God of peace will soon crush Satan under my feet! The grace of the Lord Jesus is with me!


Colossians

Since the day I understood God’s grace in all truth, His Gospel grows and bears fruit within me. I am filled with the knowledge of God’s will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. I live a life worthy of the Lord and I please Him in every way. I bear fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might so that I might have great endurance and patience, and joyfully give thanks to the Father who has qualified me to share in the inheritance of the saints of the kingdom of light. God rescued me from the dominion of darkness and brought me into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

I have been reconciled by Christ’s physical body through death to present me holy in God’s sight without blemish and free from accusation. I continue in my faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel. God has chosen to make known to me the glorious riches of the mystery, which is Christ in me the hope of glory. As I have received Christ I continue living in Him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as I was taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. I have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority. In Him I was circumcised in putting off of the sinful nature, buried with him in baptism and raised with him through faith in the power of God. When I was dead in my sins, God made me alive with Christ and forgave all my sins.

I set my heart on things above where Christ is seated at the right hand side of God. For I died and my life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is my life appears, I will also appear with Him in glory. I put to death whatever belongs to my earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires, and greed. I rid myself of anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from my lips. I do not lie to people since I have taken off my old self which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its creator. As God’s chosen child, holy and dearly loved, I clothe myself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. I bear with others forgiving whatever grievances I have towards them. I forgive as the Lord forgave me. Over all these virtues I put on love, which binds everything all together in perfect unity. The peace of Christ rules in my heart since as a member of God I have been called to peace. I am thankful. The word of Christ dwells in me richly as I teach and admonish with all wisdom. I sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in my heart to God. Whatever I do, whether in word or deed, I do it in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

I submit to my husband as is fitting to the Lord. Whatever I do, I work with it with all my heart as working for the Lord not for men, because I will receive an inheritance from him as a reward. It is the Lord Christ I am serving.  I devote myself to prayer being watchful and thankful. I am wise in the way I act towards outsiders and I make the most of every opportunity. My conversations are always filled with grace, seasoned with salt, and I know how to answer everyone.




Ephesians

I have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ. He chose me before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love, He predestined me to be adopted as his son through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will. In Him I have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on me with all wisdom and understanding. He has made known to me the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure which he purposed in Christ. Having believed, I was marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit who is a deposit, guaranteeing my inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession. I have the spirit of wisdom and revelation to know Him better. The eyes of my heart are enlightened and I know the hope to which He has called me, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and His incomparably great power for those who believe.

God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love for me, made me alive with Christ even when I was dead in transgressions. It is by grace that I have been saved. God raised me up in Christ and seated me with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus. It is by grace that I have been saved- through faith, and this is the gift of God. For I am God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for me to do. I have been brought near to God through the blood of Christ, he is my peace. I am a fellow citizen with God’s people built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets, with Christ Jesus as the chief cornerstone. We are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by His Spirit.

I became a servant of God’s Gospel by the gift of grace He has given me through the working of His power. Although I’m less than the least of all God’s people, this grace was given me: to preach to the world the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make plain to everyone the mystery of the Gospel. In Christ and through faith in Him I approach God with freedom and confidence. Out of His glorious riches I am strengthened with power through His Spirit in my inner being, and Christ dwells in my heart through faith. I am rooted and established in love; I have power together with all the saints to grasp how wide and long and how deep is the love of Christ. I know His love that surpasses all knowledge and I’m filled to the measure with all the fullness of God.

I live a life worthy of the calling I have received. I’m completely humble, gentle, and patient bearing with others in love. I make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. I put off my old self being made new in the attitude of my mind, created to be like God in righteousness and holiness. I speak truthfully to my neighbor and in my anger I sin not. I give no foothold to the devil and I do not grieve the Holy Spirit with whom I was sealed for the day of redemption. I’m kind and compassionate to others, forgiving them just as Christ in God forgave me.


I imitate God living a life full of love and thanksgiving. I have the fruit of light which is goodness, righteousness, and truth. I want nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness but rather I expose them. I live a life characterized by wisdom making the most of every opportunity. I understand what God’s will is and I am filled with the Holy Spirit. I speak to others with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. I sing and make music in my heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God for everything. I submit to others out of reverence for Christ. I submit to my husband as to the Lord and I obey my parents in the Lord. I honor my mother and father, therefore everything goes well for me and I will live a long life on earth. I raise my children in the instruction and training of the Lord. I am strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. I put on the full armor of God so that I can take my stand against the devil’s schemes. For my struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, authorities, and powers of this Dark Age. I stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around my waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with my feet fitted with the readiness that comes with the Gospel of peace. In addition to all this, I take up the shield of faith with which I can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the wicked one. I take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God and I pray in the spirit at all occasions. I am alert and I keep praying for all the saints. 



Phillipians

I have grace and peace from God! He who began a good work in me will carry it on to completion until the day of Jesus Christ. My love abounds more and moe in knowledge and depth of insight so I'm able to discern what is best. I will remain pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ. Through the saint's prayers and the help given by the spirit of Chirst, all that has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance. Christ will be exalted in my body whether by life or by death, for to me to live is Christ and to die is gain. Whatever happens I conduct myself  in a manner worthy of the Gospel of Christ!

I am encouraged by being united to Christ, comforted by His love and His fellowship. I am like-minded with other believers, having the same love, being in one spirit and purpose. In humilty I consider others better than myself looking to their interests. My attititude is the same as that of of Christ.I continue to workout my salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in me to will and to act according to His good purpose. I do everything without complaining or arguing so that I may become blameless and pure. 


I rejoice in the Lord! Whatever was to my profit I now consider a loss for the sake of Christ. I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. I want to know Christ and the power of His ressurection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death and so somehow attain the ressurection from the dead. I press on to take hold of that which Christ Jesus took hold of me. I forget what is behindand strain toward what is ahead. I press on towards the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. My citizenship is in heaven and I eagerly await a Saviour from there, the Lord Jesus Christ. 


I rejoice in the Lord always. My gentleness is evident to all. I am not anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, I present my requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding guards my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. I have thoughts which are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praiseworthy! Whatever I hear I put it into practice. I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation. I can do everything through Him who gives me strength! My God meets all my needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ is with my spirit. 



James

I am a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ. I consider it pure joy when facing trials of many kinds because I know that the testing of my faith produces perseverance. Perseverance will finish its course in me so that I may be mature and complete not lacking anything. God gives me wisdom generously and without finding fault. I am blessed because I persevere under trial and having stood the test I will receive the crown of life that God promised to those who love Him. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. He chose to give me birth through the word of truth that I might be a kind of first fruit of all he created. I am quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry. I am rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and I humbly accept the word of God which saves my soul. I do what the word says, looking intently into the perfect law that gives freedom and continue in it therefore I am blessed in what I do. I look after orphans and widows in their distress and I keep myself from being polluted by the world.

I show no favoritism and see everyone as equal in God’s eyes and loving them as I love myself. I speak and act knowing that I will be judged by the law that gives freedom, the law of mercy and not of judgement. I have faith in God and my deeds prove it. I am wise and understanding and I show it by living a good life and deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. I have the wisdom from heaven which is pure, peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy, good fruit, impartial, and sincere. I am a peacemaker and I sow in peace therefore I reap a harvest of righteousness.

I submit myself to God, and I resist the devil and he flees from me! As I draw closer to God He is drawing closer to me. I wash my hands and I purify my heart, humbling myself before the Lord and He lifts me up. I am patient in waiting for the Lord’s coming, and I stand firm because His coming is near! I take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord as my example for being patient. My word is my word and I do not swear by heaven nor by anything else. When I’m troubled I pray, when I’m happy I sing praises, when I’m sick I call the elders to come pray for me and anoint me with oil- if I have sinned I will be forgiven. My prayers are powerful and effective! 


1 Peter

I have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to be obedient to Jesus Christ and sprinkled with His blood. Grace and peace is mine in abundance. Praise be to God and Father of my Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given me new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil, or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for me, by faith I am shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. Though I have not seen Him I love Him, and even though I do not see Him now I believe in Him and I’m filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for I’m receiving the end result of my faith, the salvation of my soul.

With a mind that is fully alert and sober, I set my hope on the grace to be brought to me when Jesus Christ is revealed at His coming. As an obedient child, I do not conform to the evil desires that I had when I lived in ignorance. But just as He who called me is holy, I am holy in all that I do. It was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that I was redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to me from my ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for my sake. Through Him I believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and glorified Him, and so my faith and hope is in God. Now that I have purified myself by obeying the truth I have sincere love for others, I love people deeply from the heart. I have been born again not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.

I rid myself of all malice, deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. Like a new born baby I crave pure spiritual milk so that by it I might grow in my salvation now that I have tasted that the Lord is good. As I come to God I am being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. I am chosen by God, holy, and His special possession that I may declare His praises because He called me out of darkness into His wonderful light. I abstain from sinful desires which war against my soul. I live a good life that though people accuse me of doing wrong, they see my good deeds and will glorify God on the day that He visits us. For the Lord’s sake, I submit myself to every human authority. It is God’s will that by doing good I will silence the ignorant talk of foolish people. I live as a free person but don’t use my freewill as a cover up for evil; I live as God’s slave. I show proper respect to everyone, I love the family of believers, I fear God, and honour those in government. Jesus Christ is my example: He committed no sin and no deceit was found in his mouth. He did not retaliate at the insults hurled at him. When he suffered he made no threats. Instead he entrusted himself to the one who judges justly. He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross so that we might die to sin and live in righteousness, by His wounds I have been healed. For I was like a sheep going astray but now I have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of my soul.

My beauty does not come from outward appearance such as elaborate hairstyles or the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Rather it is that of my inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. I am like-minded with other believers, we are sympathetic, we love one another, and we are compassionate and humble. I do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary I repay evil with blessing for I love life and want to see good days. Therefore, I keep my tongue from evil and my lips from deceitful speech. I turn from evil and I do good, I seek peace and I pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on me and His ear is attentive to my prayer. No one can harm me if I’m eager to do good. With gentleness and respect I am always prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks me to give the reason for the hope which I have. It is better if it is God’s will to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring me to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit. After being made alive he went and proclaimed to the imprisoned spirits. My conscious is clear before God. I am saved by the resurrection of Jesus Christ who has gone into heaven, and is at God’s right hand with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him.
I live the rest of my earthly life for the will of God. The end of all things is near, therefore, I am alert and sober minded always praying. Above all, I love people deeply for love covers a multitude of sins. I offer hospitality to others without grumbling and I use the gifts I have received to serve others as a faithful stewards to God’s grace in its various forms. When I speak I do so as one who speaks the very words of God and when I serve I do so with the strength God provides so that in all things God may be praised through Christ Jesus- to him be the glory and the power forever and ever! I rejoice as I participate in the sufferings of Christ therefore I will be overjoyed when His glory is revealed. If I am insulted for Christ’s sake then I am blessed; for the spirit of glory and of God rests on me. If I suffer for being Christian I will praise God for bearing His name. I commit myself to my faithful creator and continue to do good!

I am a shepherd of God’s flock that is under my care, watching over them not because I must, but because I’m willing and God wants me to, not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve and leading by example. When the Chief Shepherd appears I will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away. I clothe myself with humility because God opposes the proud but shows favour to the humble. I humble myself under the mighty hand of God that He may lift me up in due time. I cast all my anxieties on Him because He cares for me. I am alert and of a sober mind because the enemy prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. I resist him standing firm in the faith because I know that other believers throughout the world undergo the same kind of sufferings. The God of all grace who called me to eternal glory in Christ restores me and makes me strong, firm, and steadfast. To Him be the power forever and ever!



2 Peter

Through the righteousness of God and my Savior Jesus Christ I have received precious faith. Grace and peace is mine in abundance through the knowledge of God. His divine power has given me everything I need for a Godly life through my knowledge of Him who called me by his own glory and goodness. God has given me very great and precious promises, so that through them I may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. I make every effort to add to my faith goodness, and to goodness knowledge, and to knowledge self-control, and to self-control perseverance, and to perseverance godliness, and to godliness mutual affection, and to mutual affection love. These qualities keep me from being ineffective and unproductive in the knowledge of my Lord Jesus Christ. As I do them I do not stumble and I will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials. With Him a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, but instead He is patient with us not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. The day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar, the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. Therefore, I live a godly and holy life as I look forward to this day and speed its coming. Keeping with God’s promises I am looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. I make every effort to be found spotless, blameless, and at peace with God. I stand in my secure position and not moved by lawlessness and error. I grow in the grace and knowledge of my Lord Jesus Christ, to Him be glory both now and forever more.



1 John

My fellowship with other believers is with the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. God is light and I walk with Him in light, I live by His truth. The blood of Jesus His Son purifies me from all sin. If I claim to be without sin I deceive myself and the truth is not in me. If I confess my sins He is faithful and just and will forgive my sins and purify me from all unrighteousness. If I claim that I have not sinned I make him ought to be a liar and His Word has no place in my life. If I sin I have one who speaks on my defense- Jesus Christ the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for my sins and not only for me but also for the sins of the whole world. I know that I have come to know Him if I obey His commands and his love is truly made perfect in me. As I claim to be in Him, I also walk as He did. The darkness is passing and the true light is now shinning in my life. I love my brothers and sisters therefore I walk in the light, nothing will make me stumble. My sins have been forgiven on account of the name of Jesus. I know Jesus from the beginning, I have overcome the evil one, I have known the Father, I am strong and the Word of God lives in me. I do not love the world or anything in the world because I know that everything that is of the world; the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes, and the boasting of what he has and does; comes not from the Father but from the World. The world and its desires passes away but I will live forever because I live according to God’s will.

I have an anointing from the Holy One and I know the truth. I have eternal life and the message of His gospel abides in me. The anointing that I have received from God remains in me; it is real not counterfeit and it teaches me all things. I continue In the Lord therefore when he appears I will be confident and unashamed at his coming. How great is the love the Father has lavished on me that I should be called a child of God. I am a child of God and what I will be has not yet been made known. When He appears I shall be like Him for I shall see him as he is. This is the hope I have which purifies me even as I am pure. Jesus appeared that He might take away my sins, in Him there is no sin. As I live in him I do not keep on sinning, no one who continues in sin neither knows or seen him. I will not let anyone lead me astray. He who does what is right is righteous just as he is righteous. He who does what is sinful is of the devil because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. This is how I know who are the children of God and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God nor anyone who does not love His brother. I have passed from death to life because I love my brothers and sisters. As Jesus Christ laid his life down for me so do I lay my life for others.

My love for others is demonstrated in the truth and in action. I have confidence before God, and I receive from Him anything I ask because I obey His commands and do what pleases Him. He lives in me and I also live in Him. I have overcome the anti-Christ because the one who is in me is greater than the one who is in the world. God lives in me and His love is made complete in me. I live in him and him in me because He has given me His Spirit and I know and rely on the love He has for me. Love is made complete in me and I will be confident on the Day of Judgment, because in this world I am like Him. I love God because He first loved me! This is love for God to obey His commands and His commands are not burdensome for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world- even my faith.  I am confident in approaching God; when I ask anything according to His will He hears me and I know that I have what I ask of Him. I am born of God therefore I do not continue in sin, God keeps me safe and the evil one cannot harm me. The Son of God has come and given me understanding so that I may know who is true. I am in Him who is true, Jesus Christ the Son of God. He is the true God and eternal life. I keep myself from idols.
