Look at those soulless eyes...the twelve year old little girl crying for help and desperately longing for love. I'm thankful to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for rescuing her.
"Though your beginning was insignificant, yet your end will increase greatly!" (Job 8:7)

You broke into the silence
And sang a song of Hope
A melody resounding
In the deep of my soul
You have come running
You tore down every wall
All the while shouting
My love you're worth it all!

Super grateful to be celebrating 8 years in Christ today (15 April 2020)! Everyday my heart swells with gratitude to the Lord for His great gift of salvation! He is my HERO, MY CHAMPION, MY SUPPORT SYSTEM AND MY STRENGTH! He has helped me so much and in so many ways! Thank You Jesus for Your love, light and fire that continues to burn in my heart for You. Thank You for a new and improved life; for saving me from death and for constantly delivering me out of darkness! O ntirile motho sechabeng! You removed my guilt and shame, healed my wounds and clothed my nakedness. Thank You for your gift of forgiveness and Your precious Blood! Thank You for your unconditional love that always moves to deliver us! Thank You for Your mercy, grace, goodness, kindness, faithfulness, validation and presence in my life! Thank You, thank You, thank YOOOOOUUUUU!!!

Growing up, I was often told that I'm stupid. "I don't know why God gave me such stupid children!", were the words I often heard. At times a question beyond my level of comprehension would be asked and if I said I didn't know, "What do you ever know?" was the response I often got. Being able to celebrate another graduation is one of the ways I choose to emancipate myself from all the lies I've always believed about myself and what God thinks of me. I am very thankful to the Lord for giving me a chance to prove to myself that I am not what people say I am- but who He says I am. God makes no child stupid. The road ahead of me is prosperous and blessed as I continue in this journey of mental emancipation.

Galatians 5:1 - IT IS FOR FREEDOM THAT CHRIST HAS SET ME FREE. SO I STAND FIRM. I WONT LET MYSELF BE BURDENED AGAIN BY A YOKE OF SLAVERY.

When I think about the Lord
How He saved me
How He raised me
How He filled me with the Holy Ghost
How HE healed me to the uttermost
When I think about the Lord
How He picked me up
And turned me around
How He placed my feet on solid ground
It makes me wanna shout
Hallelujah, thank You Jesus
Lord You're worthy of all the glory, and all the honor, and all the praise!

Going down memory lane as I celebrate 7 years with the Lord today(15 April 2019)! So grateful!

Massachussets to Bahams (July 2018)

I asked God to make a way for me to visit America again. He granted my request and even more; He made a way for me to go to the Bahamas. He is able to do immeasurably MORE than all we ask or imagine, according to the power that is at work in us!

God, thank You soo much for always putting a smile on my face. I will cherish those memories forever!

One of the best things about being a Teacher is that you work in close proximity with learners. Being in the school I'm currently in (Mphe-Bana Secondary), with most learners from broken backgrounds, I'm thankful that I can play a role in bringing some sunshine to these learner's lives. My desire is to have a fellowship group with these girls where they grow to be resilient, fierce-hearted women after God's heart.

Celebrating six years in the Lord today (15 April 2018). I am so grateful to God for saving me!
What I have, God gave me. What I am, God made me. Where I am, God brought me. And what I know, God taught me. May I never loose my wonder.

“Society applauds the person who designs a building more than it does the one who attends to the architecture of a child’s soul. Our culture values a face that is known to the public far more than it does a countenance reflected in a child’s eyes. The world sets a higher priority on attaining a degree than on educating a life. It values the ability to give things more than it does giving oneself. This approach to self-worth has been relentlessly sown by modern culture and has taken root in many Christian hearts, so that there is no room for another self- even if it is one’s own child.”- Kent and Barbara Hughes

We are often holding faith for our learners, believing for them what they cannot believe- that they are made for a future full of hope and strength. Their success and destiny is ultimately theirs to choose, but we are a stand-in for the work of the Spirit in the lives of these precious ones. Respect them and know that it’s less what you say and more what you do. They hear the words but they gauge more on the spirit and intention of your behavior. If you are calm and compassionate, what you say will be secondary to your learner’s ability to trust your intentions. But if you are controlling, judgmental, impatient, and domineering, you will likely lose them altogether.

"Let's give little girls in poverty the gift of growing up to be FIERCE-HEARTED women."- Holley Gerth
"Let us devote our life to worthwhile actions and feelings, to great thoughts, real affections, and enduring undertakings. For life is too short to be little."- Dale Carnegie

After NINE years of being in Tertiary level, I have finally graduated!

"Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight."-1Peter3:3-4

So thankful to God for blessing me with the most lovely friends. Paul said to the Philippians, "I thank my God every time I remember you", I also do the same when I remember all the wonderful people my God placed in my life!!

Before: carrying a glass of whiskey pretending to be happy. After: Embracing my new self and totally free from people's opinions.

God, thank You for saving me!  "I sinned and perverted what was right, but I did not get what I deserved. He redeemed my soul from going down to the pit, and I will live to enjoy the light!"_Job33:27-28

What a Great 2014! Thank You Jesus!

Thank You Lord for the role that Dr Myles Munroe has led in making me become the person I am today. It’s a sad period for masses but when the trumpet sounds, as Ellen G. White said, “The voice of the Son of God will call forth the sleeping saints. Throughout the earth the dead shall hear that voice and from the prison house of death they shall come clothed with immortal glory, crying: ‘O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?’”

Thank You Jesus: Through You we have eternal life!

Trees don't try to grow. Birds don't try to fly. Fish don't try to swim. These abilities are natural to them. Whatever you were born to do is natural within you, you don't have to "try" to do it! ~Dr. Myles Munroe
